In 1998 Access Security Technology was founded
in Atlanta, Georgia. The company's original focus and area of expertise was
physical security systems. Since that time, through hard work and
delivering what we promise to our customers, Access has become one
of the most respected technology companies in the Southeast.
In 2003, Access acquired NetTEL Technology
Group. As a result, we began offering our customers security systems,
communications, infrastructure services and audio/video services. With
over 500 customers and growing, Access is uniquely qualified to offer a
wide range of essential technology to their customers. Our clients range
in size from small business clients to Fortune 500 customers with
locations throughout the United States. Access has been serving
customers since 1998.
Access Security Technology is owned by Stephen
Nettles, a 25 year veteran of the security and telecommunications
industries. He has served in senior management positions at Bellsouth,
Shared Technologies and Executone Business Solutions. Prior to entering
the private sector, he spent 9 years at the White House Communications
Agency during the Reagan and Bush Administrations. He also held a Top
Secret Security Clearance. He has designed and installed security and
communications solutions at locations throughout the country
as well as The White House and Camp David.
His philosophy and approach to business is to
take the most advanced technology products and offer them to his
customers in a manner that is consistent with their business needs. He
is a member of several local organizations and holds several licenses
and accreditations. Stephen is a cum laude graduate of the University of
Maryland.
